Refund Policy

Last updated September 3, 2026

This policy explains how payments for Reonlingo work, and what to do if something goes wrong with a charge.

Template notice: this page is a starting-point draft, not finished legal advice. Have qualified counsel review and localize it — especially for GDPR, India’s DPDP Act, and children’s-privacy rules — before it governs a live app or handles real user data.

1. All purchases are final

All payments made for Reonlingo — one-time purchases and subscriptions alike — are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or as described below. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the period you’ve already paid for; you keep access until that period ends.

2. Purchases go through Apple or Google

Because subscriptions and in-app purchases are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those platforms — not Reonlingo — process the payment and are best placed to handle a refund if their own conditions are met. You can request one directly from Apple or Google Play, depending on where you subscribed.

3. Exceptions we’ll review directly

We know “non-refundable” shouldn’t mean unreachable. If your situation doesn’t fit neatly into a store-level refund — for example:

  • You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
  • A technical error on our side blocked you from accessing what you paid for.
  • You believe a refund is required by law in your country.
  • Something else genuinely exceptional.

— email [email protected] with your account email, the approximate purchase date, and a short description of what happened. We review these individually and at our discretion; sending a request doesn’t guarantee a refund, but we do read and respond to every one.

4. Changes to this policy

We’ll update the date above whenever this policy changes. See our Terms of Service for the full billing terms.
